Whenever I stay here, I have no regrets. The staff is friendly, and they even gave me a hot drink during my first visit in the cold weather. This place has everything I need - Wi-Fi, bar, restaurant, fitness center, and more. I'll be back for sure!

Very small room and bathroom. No comfort in the room; only 1 seat for 2 persons, very dark. Air conditioning barely worked.

A very good dinner was included, breakfast was also very tasty. Beautiful inner courtyard, very attractively designed. Extremely friendly staff.

Rooms a little dark, pictures would be nice. Room facing the courtyard, where the window could not be opened.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, right opposite the train station, making it incredibly convenient for my travels. The hotel provided a wide range of services, including dry cleaning and bicycle hire, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a comfortable sitting area. I also loved the fact that there was a beautiful garden with cozy garden furniture where I could relax and unwind.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Centrally located, nice restaurant and breakfast room. Nice and fast check-in.

Had to park our motorbike in the car park opposite to the hotel. Dinner could not be eaten. Potatoes too dry and hard. Fish bland and cold. Mattresses old and soft.

Hotel in the centre of Karlstad - Right next to a passage and many shops! Very tidy, in the breakfast area quite a lot of space; very friendly staff... were there with dog, he was welcomed with treats and golden bowls :-) .

Small rooms, too soft beds

I stayed at Clarion in Karlstad for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, right in the city center with parking available across the hotel. The staff was supportive and the hotel was very clean. The highlight was the included dinner and breakfast, which were both delicious and plentiful. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want. a great hotel experience.

Hotel all in all very nicely furnished. Breakfast was very rich and very well served. The room was large and well divided.

Parking is only available in the surrounding car parks, which are not exactly inexpensive. Unfortunately, on the day of our departure a large Chinese travel group was present which also left, which was quite annoying at breakfast, because everything was quite hectic and loud.

The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, as it was just off the train station and in the middle of the city. Transportation was easily accessible. Additionally, the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the breakfast, with a variety of food available. Finally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The patio with breakfast was top and especially the dinner, which is included in the price, was very good. The size of the room was also fine.

During the night and in the morning it was partly very loud in the room, because the windows were old and so the noise of the street is audible. The cleanliness could be better.

Our romantic escape was not as lovely as we had hoped. the room was very small and the décor was outdated.

Right in the city center. Parking (extra fee) right opposite the hotel. As with most Swedish hotels, an excellent breakfast buffet with all you can ever want in the morning.

My room had windows into the courtyard so a little bit noisy when people was drinking there. Windows were not allowed to be open so not possible to get some extra air into the room.

Great location, just a couple of meters from the train station and right in the city centre. Karlstad's "shopping street" is located a couple of meters away from the hotel and you will also find most of the restaurants in the neighbourhood. The hotel itself is one of Karlstad's best when it comes to the standard. The hotel also has a great restaurant, but if you're thinking of dining there on a Saturday night for instance, make a reservation!

Great location by the railway station, excellent staff, very good wifi, hardwood floors, VERY GOOD BED, and great breakfast buffet. Abundant dinner and early breakfast exceeded expectations.

Felt like family, no complaints whatsoever.
